This was my first ever digital painting after many years of using photoshop to manipulate images and craft graphics, the news of a dear friend being deathly ill led me to try painting his portrait from scratch.

Nanny was Mr Driver's wife and when she passed away, I knew I needed to paint her too. These images are all thanks to my Dad's amazing photography.

As a gift for my Mum, I painted this moment between very special friends. Peggy was a God-send to Mum when they first moved to the desert.

Sunny was another one of many friends to have passed away and with such an incredible face I knew I needed to paint him.
