Iv'e been attending Irish classes for two years on monday nights and have loved it to bits. I wanted to create something to help advertise the club and also to make something people would be proud to wear. It was exciting to have the design embraced and produced, and to wear it to class (with around 50 others also wearing one) a few months later.

This one was personal. I have seen the Wynstan logo graceing (graceing?) the sides of vans and store fronts for years and wondered why they haven't upgraded from the "punch me in the face" cartoon mascot and feminine-hygiene-esque logo. While I admit my attempt isn't mind blowing, I do think it's at least a clever combination of mascot, logo and use of their catch phrase "Wynstan with a Y".

Bethany Baptist Church in Bangor NI had the text all sorted and in a modern font, but wished for an icon which would be helpful for their socials and signage. The Cross is at the centre of their life as a Church, so incorporating that into the letter made the most sense. The arching lines can then be symbolic of everything that flows out from the Cross, forgiveness, life, good news.

KBC was ready for a refresh. The previous logo was a cross with a swirl of wind, so I brought those elements together in a shape which hints at the sailboats you can see in the harbour.

Finley and surrounding areas are places where you can see how important irrigation is. The logo refresh needed to incorporate concepts of grain and irrigation without the cliché wheat stalk.

Scots Presy requested a logo which conveyed the trinity and the cross. They already had the three looped trinity symbol which they wanted to use and with a bit of a tweak we had the solution.
