Paul Davies

Hello and welcome, I love exploring new techniques and playing across a wide variety of styles. Having worked in design agencies for 12 years and illustrating full time for a few more, sometimes I like to make things that I think are cool, even if it confuses everyone else... The last 5 years have been an interesting time for me, illustrating 26 children's books for a self-publisher. I quit on the 26th book. "Why!?" Feel free to ask me about it sometime.

On that note, What do I think about AI you ask? I think it has certainly changed the game, and made certain styles of art more easily accessible to the average Joe. While the quality and power of AI expands, I strongly believe that over time humanity will develop a dissatisfaction with soulless ai-slop imagery and develop a stronger desire to see real authenticity and human creativity in art. Maybe... I hope...
